Since 1941 the Bach Society of Saint Louis has been performing the choral music of Johann Sebastian Bach and other classical and contemporary composers. Each year our nonprofit organization delivers a varied and exciting season in a wide range of concert, educational and outreach programs to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of the people in the St. Louis region.

Under the direction of A. Dennis Sparger, music director since 1986, the Bach Society of Saint Louis Chorus has been labeled as "right up there with the best this city has to offer"

Powell Symphony Hall
Join us in welcoming St. Louisan Gina Galati as she makes her Powell Hall debut with the Bach Society of Saint Louis.  Trumpets and timpani will signal the opening of Bach's Christmas Oratorio which will also feature tenor Don Frazure and bass Curtis Streetman.  Glowing candles will then surround the hall for the traditional Candlelight Processional with the Bach Society Chorus and the Archdiocesan Children's Choir directed by John Romeri.  Traditional Christmas music and audience carols complete the only concert of its kind at the beautiful and elegant Powell Symphony Hall.
