Dr. Jordan Cox

Dr. Jordan Cox is the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Missouri Baptist University where he also serves as Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities & Music Education. Under his baton, the MBU Choirs perform annual masterwork concerts, collaborate with numerous schools, churches, and organizations including Bach Society of St. Louis, have recorded two choral albums, commissioned a new work, and were an invited demonstration choir for Dan Forrest’s breakout session at the 2019 Getty’s SING Conference in Nashville, TN. Touring regularly, the MBU Choirs take annual regional tours including a 2017 tour to Ireland, a 2023 performance at Carnegie Hall and in May 2026 performed throughout Great Britain. Dr. Cox is an active adjudicator, clinician, and presenter conducting numerous district and regional honor choirs including the Georgia All-State Elementary Honor Choir in 2024. He has presented on numerous topics including his research interests in rehearsal design, score study, and spirituality at the state, regional, and international level and is an invited presenter to the International Society of Music Education in Montreal, Canada in July. 

Erin Haupt

Mezzo-soprano Erin Haupt is a versatile performer and educator recognized for her work in both the operatic and concert stages. A native of St. Louis, her diverse operatic credits include the title role in Bolcom’s Lucrezia, Berta Il barbiere di Siviglia, Marcellina Le nozze di Figaro, and Hermia A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She has also appeared as La Badessa Suor Angelica, Sister Veronica Doubt, and in several Gilbert & Sullivan favorites, including Tessa Gondoliers, Edith The Pirates of Penzance, Pitti-Sing The Mikado, and Hebe H.M.S. Pinafore.

As a concert soloist, Ms. Haupt has appeared with the Bach Society of St. Louis, Kingsbury Ensemble, American Kantorei, Chamber Project St. Louis, Masterworks Chorale and the St. Louis Cathedral Concert Series, among others. A former Young Artist for the Bach Society of St. Louis and winner of the Southern Illinois Young Artist Competition, she completed her Doctoral studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She currently serves on the music faculties of Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
